The relationship between the Church body and those who serve and hold any office.

We believe that God, by His Spirit gives gifts to His Church equipping members to serve as Pastors, Elders, Deacons, Teachers, Musicians, Youth Workers, Helpers, Church Visitors, Secretaries, Treasurers. etc.

Only Church Members in good standing can hold responsible positions in any department at Bethel.

Everyone holding office must be able to give their unequivocal assent to the Doctrines and Principles of the Church.

Under the Lord, in our form of Church Government, the final responsibility in all Church matters rests with the Church body as a whole when gathered in the Church Meeting.

The Church Meeting delegates degrees of responsibility to those who serve in its various departments. However, all departments are accountable under the Lord, to the Church Body, as a whole.

The requirements made of applicants for Church membership

1. Applicants for Church Memebership must give credible evidence of new birth by the Holy Spirit and saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

2. They must have been baptised by immersion on confession of faith.

3. They must be living lives consistent with their profession of faith.
